This year, Sports Virginia, Inc. is offering AAU Diving.  This is an excellent and cost effective opportunity of Novice and Intermediate divers to get involved with the sport of diving and compete.  Virginia AAU Club Membership is $30/ year, Athlete Membership is $10.00/ year, and Coaching Membership is $12/ year (Sept. 1 to Aug. 31).  Once an athlete has joined AAU, then they are free to compete at any of the AAU sanctioned meets throughout the summer.  The requirements for an AAU competition are below.  We are hopeful that this will increase the interest level in our sport and will help develop a strong age-group diving presence in our state.  If you have any questions regarding AAU Diving, please feel free to email us at ctriolet@juno.com.

***All AAU Silver competitions will include a combination of 1M and Side of the Pool skills.  AAU Gold competitions will be composed of 1M skills and dives only.  If a 3M is available, there will be an AAU 3M competition at the conclusion of the 1M events.

All AAU Diving competitions will be split into two levels.  "Silver" is for our more novice divers and "Gold" is for the more experienced divers. For more information about the SILVER and GOLD requirements click the name.
