Congrats to the
High School Crew! |
| Many
of our team members were able to compete for their high schools this
season and had a very successful year.
We would like to congratulate and recognize all of our high
school divers who made it to the State Meet this year.
The public high school state qualifiers were Lara Beth E.,
Megan O., Nell M., Kyle K., Jay P., Pat V..
Congratulations to all of the high school divers for another
successful diving season! |

Junior Olympic Regionals |
| We
are gearing up to take some of our team members to the J.O. Regional
meet in Columbia, South Carolina on March 26 - 27.
This is one of the qualifying meets for US Nationals.
Due to a previous engagement, Chad will be the only coach traveling to
the meet.
The cost of the meet will be $20.00 per event entered (1M &
3M) as well as coaching fees and hotel rooms.
We are excited to make this trip and showcase some of
diver’s talents outside our area.
If you are interested in this trip please let us know as soon
as possible (by March 13th at the latest) so we can make
hotel and travel arrangements.
If parents are interested in traveling with us, we welcome
the company and help!

meet must have turned in their US Diving registration!! |

Because of the cost of membership, Dive
Tidewater has decided to offer two national memberships
for diving this year. AAU fees start in September of each
year and runs through August and the fees are listed below.
Many of our team members have already joined AAU this year.
USA Diving begins in January and runs until December. We feel
offering both forms of membership is the best way to protect our
athletes. See the chart below. If divers attain a
certain level of proficiency, we will have them join USA Diving as
a J.O. Diver only. Dive Tidewater will be registered as a
club with both AAU and US Diving this year. Chad and Amy
will also be certified as US Diving coaches.
